About Crystal Lake

Crystal Park Development Corporation is an amazing 24-acre natural glacial lake with surrounding grounds that were established in 1955. Over the years many family friendly amenities, activities and events have been developed.

Membership is required for Crystal Lake Park access.

Fishing Season

Crystal Lake is a great place to create those fishing memories!

The lake has been stocked this year again!

Fish species added were large mouth bass, perch, crappie, white amur (grass carp), and minnows.

The Bob Heydorn Fishing Derby

Bring the kids down to test their fishing skills for the memorial Bob Heydorn Fishing Derby!
Trophies are presented at the end of the derby!

2026 Swim Lessons

We are excited to welcome new improvements and slight changes to swim lessons this year.

We will offer two targeted skill groups for our lessons:

○ Intro to Water Safety: Our youngest swimmers’ safety around the water is important to us. We want to invite 3-5 year old to spend time getting comfortable and learning skills such as: water entry of different depths, safety around water, rules, submersion, jumps, flotation devices, etc.

○ Passing the swim test: Will be for swimmers who are close to passing but need assistance with endurance and/or freestyle/front crawl technique. It will focus on endurance and swimming the length of the swim test and treading water techniques.
